Job Summary

Must be willing to participate in education programs sponsored by the agency. Holds required and appropriate insurance license. (Licensing mandatory within six months from employment.)

Job Summary
Provide technical support for the producer in maintaining existing commercial accounts in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined in the agency procedures. The Account Administrator will also be responsible for coordinating the renewal process, account development and retention of existing customers.

Qualifications
 Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or college degree and hold a current P&C license. A minimum of one of the following designations is desired: CIC, ARM, AAI, CPCU, AU, ASCR, or CISR and at least 3 years experience in Commercial Lines insurance. A strong attention to detail, professional demeanor and excellent organizational skills are required. Must be proficient in MS Word & Excel.

Accounting Intern - Summer (3 openings)

Job Summary
The Accounting Intern will provide accounting and administrative support in all areas of accounting. The Accounting Intern duties include, but not limited to general clerical support, data entry, scanning documents and electronic filing, reconciling accounts, run errands and special projects as requested by management. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be currently enrolled in a degree plan pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Educational experience requires a minimum of 9 hours of basic and intermediate accounting, with preference given to candidates who have completed 15 or more hours including cost and corporate taxation courses. Other qualifications include strong critical thinking skills, ability to learn at a rapid pace, strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet timed deadlines. Other qualifications include advanced to intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel, working knowledge of electronic email, Intranet and Internet, fast, accurate data entry, 10-Key, operates office machines such as a typewriter, fax, scanner and phone system. Must have above average written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relay information clearly and concisely. The Accounting Intern position will require a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Job Summary
The Adjuster Trainee will be responsible for adjudicating medical only and lost time files according to applicable law. Denies, settles, or authorizes payments to routine claims based on coverage. Responsibilities also include corresponding with policyholders, claimants, witnesses and attorneys to gather important information to support contested claims in court; prepares report of findings of an investigation. Other duties may be assigned. 

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and medical correspondence.
